• CrPC 173 (Report of police officer on completion of investigation) → BNSS 193 Report of police officer on completion of investigation
  BNSS 193 adds a 2-month limit for certain sexual offences, a 90-day progress update to the informant/victim, and a 90-day limit (extendable) on further investigation during trial.
• CrPC 173(2) (Police report (charge-sheet) to Magistrate on completion of investigation) → BNSS 193(3) Report of police officer on completion of investigation
• CrPC 173(8) (Further investigation after police report) → BNSS 193(9) Report of police officer on completion of investigation
  BNSS 193(9) adds that further investigation during trial needs the Court's permission and must be completed within 90 days unless extended.
